This article is part of the epistemological framework pioneered by Heidegger regarding hermeneutics as an irreducible element for research in the social sciences. The objective of this article is to recover this element and complement it with an event-based dimension that currently seems to be absent in scientific research. To this end, we will propose some preliminary elements that will allow for the long-term construction, in dialogue with the scientific community, of a protocol for scientific research that can account for the event-based dimension.
