Abstract

This study aims to understand the influence of social networks within thedigital networks in attracting actions of students in higher education institutions. Data collection was conducted in four courses FIAM FAAM-University Center, through a structured questionnaire. It is a descriptive quantitative research that sought to punctuate the variables that influence the choice of the student by an educational institution in the digital environment. The results confirm the importance of the decision of the student in the virtual environment, which is identified with his interaction with their peers and with the institution's profile, showing that the process of communication and relationships in the digital environment influence the decision of the student by an institution of teaching. Finally, we discuss the limitations of the results and the developments needed for the discussion to be deeper, richer.
