Abstract

This paper sought to demonstrate that in Brazil there is a crisis of representation between voters and their political representatives. Therefore, it was analyzed the historical evolution of Brazilian politics and the Brazilian social composition. Dissatisfaction of Brazilians and their disbelief in public offices and politicians are the effect of public services that are not offered with efficiency and quality to the citizens, to the degree of ignorance that Brazilians have on the practice of politics and its impact on citizens. In a country with so many inequalities it is necessary an approach between politicians and voters not only in election periods because if the politicians follow the reality of Brazilian they can create solutions that meet the real needs of Brazilian and not the one being presented, that does not conform to the reality of Brazilian.
