Evaluation of Curly Lettuce with Different Irrigation Levels and Potassium Fertilization

The study aimed to evaluate the development of lettuce plants subjected to different irrigation depths and potassium fertilization. The lettuce plants were placed in 5.5 L pots containing a substrate composed of dystroferric Red Latosol, organic matter and humus. The experimental design was in randomized blocks with and without the presence of potassium chloride, conducted in a greenhouse with temperature control. The irrigation depths were evaluated at 50%, 100%, 150% and 200% of the reference evapotranspiration (ETo). Eight treatments with three replicates were evaluated, totaling 24 treatments. The parameters evaluated were height and fresh mass of the aerial part and leaf area of the lettuce plants, after 30 days of plant development. The results obtained allowed us to conclude that the water depths with the presence of potassium chloride favored the height and fresh mass of the aerial part and leaf area of the lettuce plants.
