Abstract

The development of marker linked, which can detecting additional genetic variation, rise up new advances in plant breeding being succesfully used in various cultures. The most technical collaboration was opportunity to examine closely genotype of an individual, without of phenotypic expression. The use of markers based on DNA, have received special for the characterization of cultivars, so to their potential for genotype distinction morphologically and genetically similar. The use of technology for markers linked in plant breeding, in short in the selection is known as marker-assisted selection (MAS). This work will discuss the most aspects of performance of the markers linked as a toll to support plant breeding
