Do figurado ao figurante
sobre a imagem e liberdade eidética no pensamento de Hans Jonas

No presente artigo pretendemos demonstrar a centralidade do tema da imagem na filosofia de Hans Jonas. Centralizaremos nossa reflexão nos elementos ontológicos e suas implicações antropológicas, na medida em que a reflexão jonasiana demonstra como tal problemática se insere na constituição do homem como homo pictor. Passando pela tentativa de descrição fenomenológica da percepção visual, chegaremos à definição de imagem e, desde aí, à compreensão de sua relação com a imaginação. Por fim, pretendemos demonstrar como o homo pictor se apresenta como fundamento originário da constituição do homo faber e do homo sapiens.
