A tentação e o mal-estar Gurlitt
entre a justiça e a memória diante da espoliação de obras de arte dos tempos de Hitler e depois

O artigo reconstitui o mal-estar decorrente da descoberta do acervo de Cornelius Gurlitt (1932-2014) contendo mais de mil peças de obras de arte valiosas espoliadas pelos nazistas a serviço de Hitler entre 1933 e 1945. Mostra que o estado alemão concedeu posse das obras à família Gurlitt e informa que as famílias espoliadas, em contraponto, passaram a reivindicar o patrimônio de seus antepassados tão logo descobriram o seu paradeiro. E, por fim, apresenta essa tensão como um complexo dilema entre justiça e a memória.
