A contribuição da gestalt para o problema da atenção na Fenomenologia da Percepção

O presente artigo tem como objetivo explicitar a contribuição da psicologia Gestalt para a discussão do problema da atenção presente na Fenomenologia da Percepção (1945) de Maurice Merleau-Ponty. Para isso, iremos primeiramente mostrar como o fenomenólogo francês apresenta a atenção como um dos prejuízos clássicos que recaem sobre o dualismo empirismo-intelectualismo que permeiam todo o cenário psicológico e filosófico desenvolvido entre a segunda metade do século XIX e as primeiras décadas do século XX. Depois exploraremos uma relação ainda negligenciada na fenomenologia, a que existe entre Aron Gurwitsch e Merleau-Ponty e como esta relação pode trazer aportes importantes para o debate acerca da atenção. Por fim, evidenciaremos como Merleau-Ponty utiliza elementos específicos da Gestalt como ferramentas para sua abordagem fenomenológica.
