Abstract

The post-war period is characterized by the effervescence of reflections on the human condition. The crisis and hopelessness involved in collective projects defended by different groups and institutions. In this article, discusses the positioning of Fernando do Ó, intellectual and spiritualist leadership of the city of Santa Maria, this logic, it seeks to interpret the applicant spiritualism association and nationalism as evidentiary both dispute space in Brazilian religious culture and the conquest intellectual space by the same, considering the horizon of crisis arising from the end of World War.
