Abstract
The proposal is the examination of the concept of revolution from a new perspective, which could be applied to any other concepts in a general way: the analogy between the scientific and philosophical concepts and the musical notion of Chord. For the specific discussion of the concept of "revolution", we begin with the exam of the conceptual elaboration developed by Hannah Arendt in the work “On Revolution”, coming after this to the comments of her critics and also to other conceptual elaborations of the notion of “revolution”. In the final section of the article, we propose a new formulation of the concept, based either on aspects developed by others authors, including Arendt, either adding some other conceptual notes
