Apontamentos histórico-políticos do estado de exceção à luz de Giorgio Agamben

Abstract

This article intends to work with Agamben's concept of the state of exception, raising historical-philosophical notes that can shed light on the constant presence of this phenomenon in modern political dynamics. The Italian author presents a resignification of the concept of exception, freeing it from the constraints of legal philosophy and formal legal limits. Initially, we will briefly address Agamben's resignification of the exception, differentiating it from the state of necessity. The other two moments of the text focus on historical-political notes. First, the exception in the modern political history of France and Germany. Subsequently, the phenomenon of exception in the modern political reality of Brazil.
