Abstract

Based on the idea of the unfinished nature of a work, an analysis of the book “Prefaces to Unwritten Works” by Friedrich Nietzsche emerges. The book contains, as the title shows, five prefaces whose texts they refer to do not exist. This reflection is linked to the Deleuzian point of view on Nietzschean philosophy, mainly through the concept of interpretation, understood not as a search for a Truth transmitted from the author through the text, but rather as an articulation between forces in dispute.
