50 Jahre Dilthey-Forschung in Bochum. Ein Bericht

Es geht darum, den Werdegang von Wilhelm Dilthey, einem der wichtigsten Vertreter der hermeneutisch-historischen Lebensphilosophie, zu beleuchten und seinen Einfluss auf die deutsche akademische Philosophie zwischen dem 19. und 20. Jahrhundert hervorzuheben. Darüber hinaus stellt der Text auch die Entwicklung seiner Ideen, seine Rolle bei der Gründung
der Geisteswissenschaften und die Veröffentlichung der von Gudrun Kühne-Bertram und Hans-Ulrich Lessing herausgegebenen Korrespondenz vor, die den Abschluss von fünfzig Jahren Dilthey-Forschung an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum markiert. Schließlich ist noch Diltheys Beitrag zur philosophischen Hermeneutik, seine fragmentarischen Werke und seine
Mitwirkung an bedeutenden wissenschaftlichen und biografischen Projekten hervorzuheben
