Tomando como ponto de partida a célebre sentença "torna-te o que tu és”, do poeta grego Píndaro, este estudo aborda as relações entre arte, hermenêutica e autoformação, na esteira da filosofia nietzschiana. Para tanto, o ato poético é entendido como indissociável da experiência vivida e, sobremaneira, do movimento do vir a ser, com o entendimento da arte como um modo de vida. Essa abordagem é levada a cabo tendo em vista as implicações educacionais de um tal princípio ético pautado na transformação de si como chave para a compreensão e releitura do mundo.
