Teoria tradicional e teoria da linguagem: outras considerações à luz da pragmática cultural

: The traditional theory, which establishes the power of the knowing subject in
relation to the knowable object, and the theory of language based on cultural pragmatics,
which understands language as social praxis and defends subjects “together”, and not
separated in relation to each other, are problematized. to the production of knowledge
about language. For this, we dialogue with cartography and cultural pragmatics as
participatory research. When analyzing the references, it is noticed that the theory of
language from a dominant perspective and separated from the social sphere of which
language and linguistics are part, is somewhat harmful to proposals that consider the
subject as a creative potential that contributes to make studies of language close to social
realities, producing new developments and social transformations
