Abstract

This article aims at identifying the results obtained from the
implantation of a new systematics of assistance called Residence Island, at Caixa
Econômica Federal Agency, in Toledo (PR). The importance of this study is due to
the possibility of hastening the procedures related to the processes of residence
financings, reducing the time of approval and the residence deficit that there is in thecity. In this study ofcase quantitative method was used to help identifying the
occurred changes, by measuring the time spent in processes of residence financings
that happened during the second trimester of 2008 and the same period of 2009,
evaluating the implantation of the new systematics. The documental analysis of the
financing proposals approved in the studied period was used. End reduction of time
spent in the assistance and in the approval of the processes was a positive aspect
observed in the new management pattern.
