The concept of social responsibility has widely been diffused among the public and private organizations in order to contribute to the society. Although it is intensely debated and studied by the institutions, its practice is sometimes not effective, because these companies do not face it as a form of competition in the market. However, the recent researches related to the social responsibility have showed that any institution might obtain benefits when they develop these strategies. Considering this niche market, this research aims to investigate if the professionals of secretarial science present sufficient skills to act as facilitating agents of strategies of social responsibility in corporations. Among the objectives, there are: to analyze the concept of social responsibility developed by the enterprises, as well as describe the corporation social responsibility’s actions that the secretarial science performances in the daily activities.  To examine this object of study, it was essentially based on Melo Neto (2001), Quazi (2011) and Reis (2001) to elaborate the theoretical framework regarding social responsibility in corporate environments to confront with the data collected. To conclude, it might note that the secretarial science presents the skills necessary to take charges related to the CSR.  However, it lacks openness on the part of leadership to that these professionals might execute these actions.
