Resumen

La búsqueda de la sustentabilidad ha recibido una atención creciente por parte de empresas, gobiernos y sociedad, y su medición ha fortalecido el concepto de ecoeficiencia. Este hecho ha despertado el interés de investigadores y profesionales, que buscan en la literatura científica abordajes en diferentes aspectos relacionados con el tema. Motivado por la escasez de trabajos relacionados con la sustentabilidad portuaria, el objetivo de este estudio es presentar una revisión de literatura basada en contenido y temática sobre el uso de ecoindicadores en la gestión portuaria. A partir de un análisis bibliométrico con 854 publicaciones, se eligieron 26 estudios más adherentes, que permitieron un análisis integral y crítico de la sostenibilidad económica, social y ambiental en los puertos. Los resultados señalaron las principales variables utilizadas para medir la sostenibilidad portuaria y también revelaron divergencias conceptuales en el uso de los términos sostenibilidad y verde. La selección de estos indicadores, por tipo de puerto, surge como un vacío y posibilidad para futuros estudios.

Graduado en Ingeniería de Producción por la Universidad Federal de Ouro Preto (2002). Postgrado (lato sensu) en Estadística Computacional por la Universidad Federal de Juiz de Fora (2004). MBA en Auditoría, Control y Finanzas de la Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2011), Maestría (strictu sensu) en Ingeniería de Transportes de la Universidad Federal de Espírito Santo (2013) y también posgrado (latu sensu) en Ingeniería Portuaria de la Universidad Federal de Rio de Janeiro (2014). Actualmente es  Gerente de Operaciones Portuarias de Petrobras en Porto do Açu, y también está estudiando una Maestría Profesional en Sistemas Aplicados a la Ingeniería y Gestión en IFF - Campos.
