Abstract

Transformed into disposable objects, it is estimated that in Brazil there are over 20 million dogs and cats in a state of abandonment. Given such a framework, public institutions, private companies and groups of advocates of animal rights are articulated in the development of campaigns aimed at promoting responsible ownership. Backed by the assumptions of French Discourse Analysis, especially the notion of discursive heterogeneity, we intend to analyze voices that are triggered in the construction of a discourse that aims to raise awareness about responsible in commercials published by site Pro bem de cães e gatos, by the blog wecare4animals and the Project Vira-Lata.
