Abstract

 This paper brings a brief description and interpretation of reports written by 1st year state school students from Ensino Médio about reading experiences in English Language, based on a study for masters degree dissertation in Applied Linguistics in Language Studies, in which the Hermeneutic-Phenomenological Approach (FREIRE M. 2006, 2007, 2010, 2012) was used as a metodology and the Complexity (MORIN, 1982/1990, 2000, 2003; MARIOTTI, 2007), also known as systemic thinking (CAPRA, 1996) or emerging paradigm (MORAES, 1996) for theoretical foundation about the experience.
