Abstract

The aim of this article is plotting an analysis about the theories about the teaching of reading and demonstrate the applicability of the reading approaches (ascending, descending and interactive) as a way of exercises. This proposal is focused on the attempt to resolve the problems of our students understanding of what is read. To achieve this purpose, we start with the interacional conviction that teach to read is teach the reader-apprentice to relate the knowledge and systemic schematics through interpretative procedures. Our study is based on Rumelhart (1985), Barthes (1973), Masina (2005) and Piglia (2006).
