Abstract

This work aims to reflect about an advertisement of TIM cell phone operator that divulges two plans and, through its discourse, valorizes the freedom and a communication without limit, sustained by the slogan of the mark and emphasized by its image. The advertisement presents the company logo mark in such a way that it looks like wings. In other words, adhering to the plans proposed by the operator would afford to the consumer the freedom legitimated and valorized by the responsible for the discourse. So, to persuade the readers, the operator seeks not only the reading and the comprehension of the advertisement, but an identification of the reader with the body movement presented in the image. Thus, the operator seeks to persuade the reader associating the product to a body, to a lifestyle and to a way of being in the world. Furthermore, the discourse only can be an occurrence and a persuasion if it allows this incorporation.
