Abstract

This article focus on the analysis of Rodrigues Júnior’s colonial novel Muende, trying to understand how and if the writers of this time adapt Freyre’s vision in their works at a time that it was appropriated by the New State as its main ideology. It will be taken into account topics addressed in the work of fiction such as: the role of the African women in the colonizer’s life, the cafrealization of the white man, and the miscegenation.
