Abstract

ABSTRACT

 

Objective: To elaborate a manual that promotes the parity of norms and routines between the sectors and helps the decision-making of two nursing managers in their activities, optimizing the management process, better organization, efficiency and economy. Materials and Methods: This is a qualitative study, with an approach and analysis of the discourse of the collective subject (DSC). The participants were managerial nurses, assisting supervisors and nursing director, totaling 14 participants. The local was a University Hospital. Individual interviews were conducted, based on a semi-structured questionnaire, with audio recordings. Results: the predominant age group was from 28 to 56 years old, 71.5% of the sample was female, elaboration of the Manual do Coordenador instrument, with 53 pages, with flowcharts, appendices and annexes for a better understanding of the two topics presented. Conclusion: The Coordinator's Manual will facilitate the development of the functions of two managerial nurses, oriented by two professionals, impacting the care of the patient.
