This is in accordance with the choking speed curve, which will give as a
result an operational range of fluidized bed catalytic reactor. In other words,
the range of solid and gas outflow will be established by this method that
can be used in the operation of the stream bed avoiding the collapse of the
mixture gas-solid as well as the clogging of the riser. An alternative design
method was presented, which, takes in account the collapse of the mixture
gas-solid that can exist during the operation of fluidized bed catalytic reactor.
Thus, using the proposed procedure, it is possible to work with this equipment
in its safe range of operation.
