This study investigates how the historical and social context of the COVID-19 pandemic can trigger the creative process, focusing on art as a means of expression and reflection on the vaccine. Using Gestalt therapy as a theoretical framework, it explores the creative process of an artist who uses drawing as a language capable of evoking humor, reflection, and constructing senses of identification and awareness regarding a daily theme. The research employs the content analysis method on the interview and drawings created by Humberto Soares in the series "Vaccinated Beings," analyzing it
through Gestalt therapy concepts such as figure and ground, contact, awareness, and field/organism/environment. The study highlights how creative praxis combines the ability to imagine new and innovative possibilities with the skill to translate these ideas into tangible and impactful actions during pandemic times.
