Abstract

The social business responsibility is consolidated on the national and international business and academic fields. Nevertheless, the basic elements to the comprehension of what is SBR are still discussed, as well as where it occurs and how it occurs in relation to the private organizations that possesses it, in addition to how to implement and develop this responsibility in the private organizations that want to utilize this management strategy. The researcher dares to call it DNA considering that this study has the following objective, which is to bring data do explain the basic structure, describing where and how the SBR occurs in the private organizations.The methodology that served as base to the research counts with a bibliographical research, followed by field research with structured interview on private organizations that developed SBR actions. As main results of this article, some considerations about the basic structure of the SBR can be highlighted, as well as the locus of occurrence of SBR actions and the origin of the social relations between the parties involved on SBR actions, not only in a descriptive manner, but also in a graphic proposal.
