PERCEPÇÃO DE ELEITORES DO MUNICÍPIO DE VITOR MEIRELES-SC SOBRE A TRANSPARÊNCIA DA GESTÃO MUNICIPAL

Abstract

The study aims to identify the importance of transparency in municipal management in the perception of residents and voters of the municipality of Vitor Meireles-SC and their involvement in the instruments of information and control of the decisions affecting the affairs of the municipality. This is a descriptive research with quantitative data approach, data collection occurred through questionnaires voters in the municipality of Vitor Meireles (SC). The survey had 64 respondents, 25 men and 39 women, the sample was also analyzed by dividing into groups by gender and educational level. The survey results show that there are no statistically significant differences in the judgment of the degree of importance of instruments Transparency in Public Administration, as public hearings and participatory budgeting in our sample, ie, there is similarity process posture of voters in most inquiries. On average voters do not participate in public hearings and therefore the important decisions for the municipality, most consider that participation in such events contributes to a better allocation of public resources.
