LITERATURA INFANTIL: UMA ESTRATÉGIA DE ENSINO NAS AULAS DE MATEMÁTICA

A busca e o aprimoramento de metodologias diferenciadas para o ensino da Matemática têm sido objeto de diversas investigações. Visto que a ludicidade no ensino é uma estratégia facilitadora no processo de ensino e aprendizagem Integrar a Literatura Infantil nas aulas de Matemática é bastante oportuno, já que muitas obras literárias trazem conteúdos matemáticos em sua história. Diante disso, a proposta do artigo em questão é apresentar os benefícios que a correlação entre a Literatura Infantil e a Matemática podem oferecer no processo de ensino e aprendizagem dos alunos e, ainda, apresentar os resultados de uma pesquisa sobre o conhecimento e o uso dessa estratégia. Para tanto, foi aplicado um questionário a cinquenta professores da Rede Municipal de Ensino de uma cidade do Vale do Paraíba. Os resultados demonstraram que os professores dos três primeiros anos do Ensino Fundamental I conhecem e utilizam a Literatura Infantil como estratégia de ensino nas aulas de Matemática, porém, isso não ocorreu nos anos finais. Tais resultados sinalizam a necessidade de capacitar os professores para que o uso dessa estratégia contemple todos os anos do Ensino Fundamental e torne-se efetiva.
