PERCEPÇÃO DA CRIANÇA SOBRE A HOSPITALIZAÇÃO MEDIADA PELO BRINQUEDO TERAPÊUTICO INSTRUCIONAL

INTRODUÇÃO - A atividade direcionada por meio do Brinquedo Terapêutico proporciona liberdade, estimula a atividade motora, criatividade, ensina a lidar com situações de conflito, além de exprimir o conteúdo internalizado, possibilitando intervenção frente aos seus desafios. OBJETIVO - apreender a percepção da criança sobre o processo de hospitalização durante a sessão do brinquedo terapêutico instrucional. MÉTODO - trata-se de uma abordagem qualitativa direcionada por roteiro semi-estruturado com 25 crianças hospitalizadas em ala pediátrica de um hospital universitário público, utilizando referencial metodológico da análise de conteúdo segundo Bardin. RESULTADOS - durante a abordagem, houve interação da criança, manuseio dos instrumentos, curiosidade com os objetos desconhecidos e afinidade com materiais hospitalares que apresentaram aproximação prévia. Relataram experiências e os sentimentos que permearam esses momentos. CONCLUSÃO - a utilização do brinquedo terapêutico instrucional como uma prática coadjuvante ao tratamento, proporciona assistência humanizada, sendo aplicável a prática ao cotidiano da unidade de internação pediátrica.
