Abstract: This article was produced from the results of two recently defended Master’s Degree investigations in the Post-Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University XXXXX. In these, we are faced with two categories of a teacher’s work in a university context: group work and a teacher’s actorship, which are themes that were analyzed in this text in the light of Sociodiscursive Interactionism (BRONCKART, 2006; MACHADO; 2007) in a dialogue with the principles of the Clinic of Activity (CLOT, 2010) and the field of teacher education (GATTI et al., 2019; NÓVOA, 2022). The data originate from semi-structured interviews with professors of undergraduate courses at a public university about the development of their work. It is expected, with the reflections presented, that these may contribute to teacher education practices and to a teacher’s work, both in the context of Higher Education and in the context of Basic School, from the problematization of the categories of group work and teacher’s actorship.
