The article aims to present an experience report about the development of being a teacher of two undergraduate students in initial training, who developed a pedagogical intervention project in the context of the mandatory curricular internship, based on two methodologies developed with students of the first year of technical education integrated into high school, in the light of the bell hooks theoretical framework. We sought to show how the intertwining between theory and practice occurred, when attending undergraduate courses in Teaching Practice and Seminars. As a result, the reference did not focus only on the methodologies of high school classrooms, but on the process of training the teaching being of undergraduate students still in academia, so that the present theorist made them understand the importance of dialogue between peers and the constant need for teacher self-updating.
