Abstract

This work has the objective of presenting aspects for a solution to the learning, teaching and the assessment of the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL). The starting point of this presentation is the “Common European Framework of Reference for languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment”, which establishes levels for the work with MFL, descriptive frameworks, by level, related to diverse aspects of the domain and use of a foreign language, which work to facilitate the establishment of clear and similar criteria for education in the diverse languages, as well as facilitating the evaluation work of the MFL knowledge level of a citizen. The fact of being a facilitator tool for the work with the most diverse MFL, it makes the material knowledge recommendable, even if it is for the elaboration, the development and the improvement of the available methods in the market. Another aspect that calls the attention is the fact that MFL taught in our region are European languages, whose proficiency evaluations are most of the times elaborated and made by foreign representatives of the countries, which follow the principles established in the European Framework.
