A proposal for promoting racial equality in schools through a technology
Keywords:
multi literacies, YouTube, Racial ethnic DiversityAbstract
In this article, we present an educational proposal that can contribute to improving the quality of basic education in an innovative way, giving priority to the introduction of students in social practices, and above all, acceptance of racial ethnic diversity, promoting multi literacies. The project is based on the use of educational technology: YouTube, which can serve as a tool to promote a reflection on racial equality in school, under Law No. 10.639 / 2003 which deals with the obligation of inclusion in school curriculum the theme "History and African and Afro-Brazilian Culture”. As for the theoretical background, we support you in authors like Rojo (2013), Moran (2014), Quirino (2014), among others.
