This paper focuses, in the light of the post-colonial studies and feminist criticism, on silenced characters of the historical novel Vagos Sin Tierra (2007), by the paraguayan writer Renée Ferrer, to attend up to deal with the delicate question invoked in the work: the double violence suffered by woman as a result of the patriarchism as a sociopolitical system and the effects of colonization. in the background of the land conflicts in Paraguay of the 19th century, the narrative establishes a dialogue both with the past and future to deal with two substantial issues relatives to the Latin-American space, one related to the conflict of land and the other to the woman’s treatment inside this universe, questions that are still evoked in present time by the force of your representation. thus, we firstly intent to analyze the work considering the colonial past of Paraguay and the space occupied by woman in this context, redeemed by literature that inquire and gives a new meaning to your condition and your role in history.Downloads
