Affected by modern life, men has been guided by the immediacy, rationalism, individualism, etc., which suggests the urgent attempt to order and understand a world and fragmented self. About this, it proposes a reflection on the poetics of Manoel de Barros dealing with seemingly insignificant simplicity themes that gain immeasurable importance to the subtle way that addresses the complex universe of human relationships. Thus, it has been an investigation that seeks to clarify the relevance of poetry teaching and as the poetic experience contributes to the education of the human being.
