This article is the result of a Course Completion Work and aims to analyze the pedagogical practices of the indigenous teachers Xukuru de Ororubá, Pesqueira / PE in the face of the Teaching of Sciences in the indigenous schools of the local community. In this study, she investigated how the teachers in their pedagogical practices evidences classroom teaching of the discipline of Natural Sciences and Medicinal Herbs in the initial series. It is worth emphasizing that we set out to observe how the teachers develop the pedagogical work with the same content of the Natural Sciences, in the Xukuru indigenous context. In this sense, we use as methodological process of the research the bibliographical research through the conceptions of Haguette (1997), Cohn, (1987), Bardim (1997), Weber, (2000) Neves, (1999) Lagdon, (2003), Agrunewald (2003), Eliade (1998), among others who supported the knowledge of the respective research. In addition, we use qualitative and quantitative research, in the search for a better understanding in locus as these indigenous teachers fulfill in their pedagogical practice the Teaching of Sciences. We realize that knowledge in science classes is passed according to the reality in which they are inserted, this seeking to value the culture and tradition of its people. For, the own processes of learning are proposed in the Federal Constitution of 1988 through a differentiated School Education.
