From the road to the dive: the contemporary sertão of Viajo porque preciso, volto porque te amo.
Keywords:
Sertão, chronotope, time, space.Abstract
This work proposes an analysis of the film Viajo porque preciso, volto porque te amo (Karim Aïnouz; Marcelo Gomes, 2010), which takes place in sertão, a theme historically inherited from literature and also became central to brazilian cinema. The goal is to map how the forms of time and space are assimilated into the movie. For this, it is based on the concept of cronotopo, created by Mikhail Bakhtin. The analysis proposes that the film by Marcelo Gomes and Karim Ainouz updates the theme 'sertão' and demonstrates relevant aspects of the vision of man in the contemporaneity.
