This assignment begins from the chronicle reviews of A morte e a morte do cronista Carlinhos de Oliveira, published by Wilson Bueno in the collection Diario Vagau (2007). This written work is about the death of the chronicler. It reflects the life of José Carlos de Oliveira, his literary talent and his influence in the Brazilian Literature. Its linguistic style is marked by its subjectivity and lyricism, in a longing tone and a tribute. Wilson Bueno bothers himself and the reader because of the forgetfulness and the forgotten Carlinhos de Oliveira. This chronicle reviews privilege the dialectic reflection of the intrinsic and extrinsic of the text. Therefore, we presented information about the book in which the chronicle was published and about its author and the intertextual connections as references to the novel A morte e a morte de Quincas Berro D’água, by Jorge Amado (1958) and the life and work of José Carlos Oliveira from the biographical book called Órfão da Tempestade, written by Jason Tércio (1999), besides the reading of his published posthumously chronicles in the collection O Rio é assim (2005). Finally, in the textual reviews we have tried to relate the structural elements and its meanings to track Vagau’s pathway that guides the book and the chronicle itself.Downloads
