Abstract

With this essay, we intend to describe the arguments that circumvent the relation of clothing to art in the objective of sensitizing the relation established with the work created and produced by the individual, then called, queer. We use the queer concept less than what is understood, in the use of clothes, as male or female pieces, and we project ourselves in a configuration that tries to think the strangeness about the act of dressing in a disobedient way and that gives theoretical support to the proposal worked out here in the interaction between the artistic making of the robes and the social one. The methodology applied in this work is oriented on the studies that involve the sensitive dimension that the extensions of skin provoke and make feel and the intersections with its mediated, reception and artistic executions. The results, although preliminary, are potent in allowing us to reflect on the role of the composition of appearance in the field of artisticity and as an affirmation of clothing as a work that covers the body.
