Diving into a new universe brings a mix of insecurities, anxieties and expectations, it would be no different in Graduate Studies. In this text, we expose our feelings and perceptions, as Master's students in a Science Teaching program, in front of the Discursive Textual Analysis (ATD) of Moraes and Galiazzi (2007). For this, we evidence general ideas about this methodology, which we will adopt in our researches in the Graduate Program in Education in Science and Mathematics Education (PPGECEM). In fact, as it is the first contact with the methodology, the reflections and understandings summarize the discussions of routine meetings organized by the students, a space for learning, exposition of ideas, understandings, creation of meanings and constitution of authorship on ATD, as well as on the phenomena studied in each survey.
