BETWEEN THE AFFLUENCE AND THE TWILIGHT: THE SILENCE IN THE POETRY OF TASSO DA SILVEIRA

This article aims to present Tasso da Silveira as one of the inheritors of the metaphysical poetry in Brazil and executor of the aesthetic project elaborated by Festa in the early 20th century. In order to do so, a brief theoretical recapturing about the origin of the metaphysical poetry is done and texts from the monthly publication and from the books Canto Absoluto, Puro Canto and Poemas are analyzed.
