This article is related to the topic of joke literature in Brazilian sign language. It aims to reflect on the expressive use of the body and performative production of Piada do Touro in Sign Language, available on the channel Na Palma da Mão (2020) on the YouTube platform. Anchored in the theoretical studies of Zumthor (2018), Sutton-Spence (2021), Silva (2018) among others who are dedicated to the study of performance productions, it is intended, through a documentary research in audiovisual source, to describe and discuss the Bull joke in Sign Language through a critical reflection on performance productions, movement and the body. The signer, Alberto de Oliveira Leite, works at the intersection of Sign Language literature and dramatic art, insofar as he materializes in a scenic event the result of the creative work developed from a joke already known by the deaf community. In the performance, the physical forms and actions materialized in the signer's body are integrated into the content of the message, giving visibility to the deaf community, historically oppressed by the listeners, inverting the current norm.
