THE PLASTIC ARTS AND THE VISUAL DEFICIENT AGED

In this work the application of the plastic arts is analyzed for visual deficient in the third age. It was looked for to develop in the aged blind her perception and imagination through artistic forms that they can be admired and observed through the touch. The aged blind man's working power was emphasized, being emphasized the need of social changes, politics and education that they generate an aging healthy, autonomous, asset and integrated in the society. They participated in this study three blind of third age, being a male one and two female, that they developed their activities home, in the church, in the community, where they
lived, with determination, therefore, they are included in the society, acting in different ways, even with the limitations result of the blindness and of the age. The results showed that those individuals' creative potential is plenty assets that made possible a favorable acting during the workshop of plastic arts. The product showed that the deficient aged visual worried about elements as the aesthetics, the space orientation, the expansion of the feelings, the valorization and creative transformation of existent resources in the environment, the handling of different interference means and supports (paints, strings, mud, glues, cardboards, among other) and development of the creativity.
