THE MATTER OF MEMORY: TO THE CREDIT OF MORE HUMANISTIC METHODOLOGY AND ANALYSIS OF TESTS AND PROCEDURES

When clinical practice deals with language issues, a more deepened humanistic observation sometimes lacks, specially on the part of doctors, Speech Pathologist and, Speech Therapist. This article intends to expose this situation. We analyse here the aplication of a procedure by a neurologist in a patient with memory problems: Alzheimer’s disease. First we discuss memory and after we present a set of results, at which our critical comments are aimed.
