Abstract

 

Starting from a theoretical approach, this study accomplishes a historical abbreviation concerning the linguistic studies, from the studies pré-saussurianos to the modern linguistic studies. By cuttings in the language studies, the present article aims at to contemplate on the phase pré-saussuriana, the coming of the structuralism, the generativism and the textual linguistics, presenting comments concerning the evolutionary process of the linguistics.
