Keywords:

During the period of one year - 2007/2008 - we developed the research as a
project of Scientific Initiation PIBIC/CNPq, but for two years - 2006/2008 - we are
developing the project referred in the work plan THE figurative unnamable: Clarice
Lispector's art pictures as a researcher of Scientific Initiation - first during the years
2006/2007 as grant holder of PIBIC/UFMS and later during the years 2007/2008 as a grant
holder of PIBIC/CNPq. During all this period, of 2 years, several aspects of the pictorial and
literary work, the object of study of this research, of the writer Clarice Lispector, were studied
and lifted up. Her friendships with other painting artists, with writers and etc., the importanceof the names of her pictures front to the period of production of the same ones, decade of
1970 with reflexes of the Brazilian Military Dictatorship, the fluidity and liquidity of her
work Água viva and of her pictures, some relationships of Clarice’s pictures andcontemporary artists' works to the century XXI, among so many other studies. It is worth to
point out here, that several of these scientific works developed during the period of study of
this plan, are today published in books, magazines, printed and electronics, in Annals of
Congress, national and international, among others. For the production of all the material that
is published today, the theoretical support was found in the area of the Cultural Studies and
the Compared Literature, as it had been proposed by the work plan, besides studies on
biographies, autobiographies and a vast theoretical material on the writer's work. We could
verify during all our research that the writer's pictorial production complements all her literary
production and all the pictorial production is still without any more consistent study like the
same theoretical back-up that her literary production already has.
