Keywords:
Clarice Lispector, Intelectual, Cultura.Abstract
This work, of bibliographical character, has for main objective to analyze the
work A hora da estrela (1977), focusing the biographical-historical-cultural relationship thatcrosses such production. It is sought, here, to analyze the historical context of the time, in
specific the decade of 1970, and all the cultural transformation that this period proposes, for
instance the Military Regime and the development of the broadcastings. The research
hypothesis is to question that Clarice Lispector was, in some way, concerned with the political
and cultural movements that were happening, to the point of to observe such events in the
construction of her histories that, perhaps for that reason, have a more realistic stamp. It is
aimed to discuss the paper of the intellectual front to the literary production of her time and its
reflex to the society.
