ADOLESCENTS, LANGUAGE, DISTINCTION: A STUDY REGARDING THE DIFFERENCES OF YOU SPEAK BETWEEN ADOLESCENTS

This article if inserts in the area of Sociolinguistics study, has as object says it to
study of adolescents. The objective is to investigate which the linguistic marks that make possible
the distinction of styles of speak of adolescents of the city of Campinas. The methodology
consists of comments and interviews. The gotten results point the following one: the social
categorizações of groups of adolescents contribute for the distinctions between styles of speak;
the interviewed adolescents exert some type of leadership in its groups and therefore they tend to
be copied by other adolescents; it exists in says of the adolescents a difference of styles that is
characterized by some linguistic marks, such as: prosodic lexicon, elements and discursive
aspects.
