THE TEACHER’S FORMATION AND THE PRESENCE OF LITERATURE IN THE LITERACY IN THE 1990S
Keywords:

In 1990 great importance was attributed to the reading and to the presence of the literature at school, mainly in the literacy processes, considering the rise of no literacy taxes in underdeveloped countries. This importance is evidenced through the emanated speeches of the government and of the political education (pedagogic books, teacher‟s formation). However there is a little and inadequate use of the children‟s literature at school. This paper is a result of a research that analyzed the presence of the literature at school and the directions for it use in the pedagogic books "Literature and Literacy". It was evaluated its use in the educational programs in 1990. It was possible to conclude that the presence and use of children‟s literature as pedagogic resource or curricular content are directly related to the teacher's formation and to the form schools direct their pedagogic projects
